Trona "T.K." Peoples is an educator, librarian, and best-selling author of children's and adult books. A graduate of The University of Georgia, T.K. grew up in Crawford, GA, and now resides in Jonesboro, GA. From a young age, she was drawn to storytelling, often getting lost in fairy tales and spooky stories. After working in bilingual sales, she transitioned to teaching and later became a school librarian, where she saw the need for more bilingual children's books.
In 2019, discouraged by traditional publishers, T.K. founded her own self-publishing company, Anort Books, to give a voice to diverse authors. Known as "Peeps, The Library Lady," she now spends her days inspiring young readers and encouraging them to embrace reading and language learning. Guided by faith, hard work, and dedication, T.K. believes that every child she encounters leaves a lasting impact, and she is committed to helping others achieve their goals, just as she has.
